“This was no exception as to the quality you are more likely to receive when the Company owners are doing the work. We had two large Transoms and 3 small windows over our entry door transformed into a work of art.
We live quite a distance from Richmond, but Diane came to our home and helped me design the pieces. I was then sent templates for each piece and changed a few colors here and there.
They then traveled back to install.”

“2020: We have a sunroom that faces straight west, so the sun shines in directly, often right into our eyes! We have shades on the windows, but the transoms are not covered. Diane suggested patterned glass panels added to the transoms might help to diffuse the incoming sunlight. This has been a wonderful solution! We still have light coming in, but the direct sunlight is scattered now and doesn’t blind us. I’m attaching a picture of one of the transoms that shows the patterning. Thanks, Diane, for another great idea!
2019: As part of the kitchen renovation, we got all new cabinets, including one top set that had clear glass panels. We decided to go back to Diane to have leaded glass inserts made and they turned out beautifully. Thanks again Diane!
2017: We did a major renovation project that included gutting the entire master bath and kitchen. The master bath redo meant removing the existing window and moving and enlarging the opening. We went to Diane Fairburn’s Decorative Glass Solutions because we wanted something very special, and she had a beautiful leaded glass window already made up. The problem, though, was that it wasn’t large enough for the opening we had. The solution? She created two leaded glass side panels that mimicked the pattern in the main window. Problem solved and the final result is gorgeous! Thanks Diane!”
